My kid was always scared of failing, but now she's willing to give it a go and she tries everything. She just picks up anything and starts reading it. She even goes on the internet and finds things that I don't even know about!

Mikayla said, “I'm enjoying my spelling now. I improved because if there's a sound I don't know I just go on the computer and look up the word on DD Code. I enjoy reading now because I'm not scared of any words because I get to break them up. It will be much more fun to go back to school now”.

Before when Mikayla was doing her homework I'd have to sit down with her from start to finish otherwise she'd just stop. But now I can go cook dinner and let her figure it out on her own without her giving up and walking away. The DD Code has been so great. Mikayla even reads the school signs now on the way home!

In her whole 8 years, The DD Code is the best thing we could have ever done for Mikayla; it's going to be her future! If you believe in your kids, they can do anything with that extra bit of help. The world is her oyster!

The deputy principle wants to keep Mikayla down a grade because she's falling behind. But now her aim is to take him a newspaper and read it to him.

She just reads things like the recipes on boxes and things on the wall, which have always been there but she's never taken an interest in them until now.

I was sitting in the car with Mikayla and she said out of nowhere, “Mum, I wish this DD Code would go for the whole year. It makes me feel better to read better. It feels more fun and easier to read like the kids in class”.

Before The DD Code, Mikayla felt forced to read, and when a certain word appeared that she didn't know, she would stop completely, slam the book down and then start calling herself 'stupid'. I can't stop smiling every time I see Mikayla reading of her own free will.

Since The DD Code she looks forward to going to school and comes home happy and cheerful, which makes me happy and cheerful! One night before Mikayla went to bed she said, “Mum, I'm so glad I can read like the other kids. Goodnight'.

Mikayla actually reads the story now instead of just reading words. She stops where she's supposed to and the words now make sense to her. The DD Code has worked 10/10 for Mikayla!”

I believe his whole schooling future is all based on English, where he is right now and how he’ll learn and progress. If he struggles now it will affect him when he’s older.

He uses The DD Code to sound out words that he doesn’t know. He also looks at the numbers and colours to sound out any big words until he gets it right.

I’m so pleasantly surprised at how much he has improved. He came home the other day with a dinosaur story and read it to me. My eyeballs were nearly popping out! It has happened so fast it’s incredible.

My kid told me this morning, “Dad, I much rather this program than school. I’m learning heaps more”. Having The DD Code on hand helps Siarra out incredibly, as he can relate words he doesn’t know with the numbers at the top of the page to sound them out. This type of thing just isn’t available in books.

It’s tough when I have only limited time to teach my kid to read. And to then hear from teachers that she’s made little improvement is very disheartening, especially for her.

Many times, the reason my kid cries and won’t read something is because she can’t, and not being aware of this can strongly damage their confidence, now and in the future. The DD Code is quite a simple idea but never been done before. In terms of teaching, The DD Code is fantastic because it gives students confidence and competence.

My perspective is that one of the biggest problems with children is their level of confidence in reading. If you’re a kid in a class of 20-30 and at the bottom, it affects everything in your life.

There were two (12-13 year old) boys that started the course very grumpy and moody, but as the course went on they learnt more and became more relaxed and happy.

Lots of kids were not afraid to read any new word, and that’s very rare to see. The DD Code gives the kids the tools to read any text they like, in terms of confidence it was one of the first things I noticed.

One kid went up 4 years in reading ability (sic. after using The DD Code for 20 hours). That is an incredible thing to be a part of! With The DD Code, there are so many more benefits than just being able to read. The DD Code provides a very strong foundation.

Yesterday I gave some children a little exam to see how much they’d learnt, and one girl managed to read out a particularly big word correctly. She was so shocked she did it! It was very satisfying as a teacher to see. This is the very reason why I began teaching.

The DD Code gives younger children a good foundation for their future learning, and for the older children it gives them those tools to climb up the ladder. The DD Code is a program I would recommend for any younger children from 5-6 or any other children with reading difficulties.
